I'm so used to the Bourke's chicks being all pink. It's interesting to see how these bronze fallow males are getting their colors in. The older one seems to have some olive green all over his back.
The younger one is four days behind him, so he is still mostly covered in down. But some of the feathers he is getting are yellow.
Both of them already have a lot of blue on their shoulders. Here they are together in their nest box:
